Hairdryer

This was my older sister's but we were allowed to use it (she was so generous). I remember sitting on the living room floor with the plastic cap over my head drying my hair. If we were in a hurry we'd just use the hose without the cap.

LOL Karen this is great! I just logged on here for the first time. This was my hair dryer!! When we didn't use the dryer we set our hair in curlers with brushes inside them and slept in the darned things! At first they would hurt my head but if I slept in the exact same spot all night, eventually my scalp would get numb and I would hardly notice the brushes poking into my scalp LOL.

Then the late 50's hit and we cut our hair short, plastered it with Dippedy Doo and combed it back in a DA (ducks ass) Much less painful :)

This is going to be a fun blog to follow.

I actually have a picture of myself as a child having my hair dried in this manner. If I stumble across the picture, I'll post a link.

Although, I fear my bath towel may be caught in a "wardrobe malfunction!"
