I received one of these in the early 1970's for Christmas. I loved it. Mine was stolen the following summer when our house was robbed while we were on vacation. My parents had purchased it at the Sears store in Seattle and took me there to buy a replacement which I still have. Unfortunately, my four daughters loved it so much too and used to come into my room and listen to it often. Slowly parts began to fall off. I saved most of them and put it back together, but the music no longer works. For years, I wondered what song it was playing and just hummed along. Finally, now that it isn't working, I figured out it is the "Lonely Goatherd" from the Sound of Music puppet show segment.
