Stained Glass Angel Ornament

These were not real stained glass, but plastic. We had a few of them on our tree, I thought they were cute.

Plastic Santa Ornament

I remember this on our tree, I think it held candy at one point. I don't ever remember seeing candy in it and I don't know where it came from. Probably our aunt next door.

These ornaments could have been taken right off our tree when I was growing up. I think we had one like every one in the picture.

3-D Ornaments

We had a couple of ornaments like this....put two flat pieces together to made a round ornament. Hi-tech!

Pink Ornaments

My aunt who lived next door had ornaments like this on her tree. I thought they were elegant and beautiful.

Bell Ornaments

We had a couple of plastic bell ornaments like the two on the ends in front in the photo. I am sure they would be considered tacky this day and age but when we were growing up they were among the ornaments we used every year on our tree.

Christmas Basket Ornaments

We had a couple of ornaments like this, little white plastic baskets filled with poinsettias.

Bird Christmas Ornament

Mom had a few of ornaments like this. Birds with plastic fibres for the tails. They clipped onto the branches.

Satin Christmas Ornaments

Satin ornaments were very popular in the 80's, we used them on our tree and Mom would also suspend them from garland and hang them in the window.

Glass Christmas Ornaments

We loved the ornaments we had that looked like these, we looked forward to putting them on the tree each Christmas. We had one with the 3 wisemen on camels and the "Silent Night" ornament with the church. Mom told us she bought them either before she was married or the first year she was married, which would have meant they were from around 1956. I'm surprised they lasted so long with 6 children helping to decorate the tree every year.

We had 1 or 2 angel ornaments like these but I can't remember what colour. At least I think we had them. If we didn't then my aunt next door did.

Snowmen Ornaments

I like looking through vintage Christmas ornaments on Ebay, there's always something there that we owned. We had snowmen ornaments like the 2 smiling ones in the middle of this picture.

Angels

We had angel ornaments like these, little angel heads on chenille stems. We would stick them on the tree.
