Busy Bee Card Game

I vaguely remember having a card game with a bee on the front, much like this, when I was in grade 2. I think it was a math game.

Old Maid Card Game

My aunt lived next door and when my brothers and sisters and I were growing up we'd always go to her house and play games. She had this Old Maid card game, or one a lot like it. We must have played it hundreds of times.

Rook Card Game

I remember playing this game with my older brother and sisters but I don't remember any of the rules.

Valentines

I got valentines like some of these when I was in elementary school. I wonder did every school do what our school did? We would make a valentine holder out of a tissue box or 2 paper plates, decorate them with cardboard hearts and other trimmings then put them on our desks. On Valentine's Day we would go around the classroom and deliver valentine's to our classmates. In the afternoon we would have a party with chips and drinks and open our valentine holders.

The valentine cards that I specifically remember are the 2nd from the top right in the first picture, the parachute boy in the 2nd picture and the 2 girl cards on the ends of the 2nd row from the top in the 3rd picture.

Birthday Card

This photo is really hard to see but I got a card just like this one year for my birthday. A girl dressed in a frilly dress carrying a parasol. It was one of the prettiest cards I ever got.

Bulldog Card

My aunt gave my brother a card like this one year for his birthday. It was about 4 times the size of a regular card.

Birthday Card

I think my younger brother got this card for his birthday one year, it was big (about 8x10) and my Aunt Lucy probably gave it to him. I remember getting a big card from her one year as well. I think for a while this was on the wall in his bedroom.

Partridge Family collector cards

My older sister owned these and sometimes I was allowed to look at them. The backs had pieces of a larger picture so if you turned them over and put them together they would make a big picture. I can't remember what picture it made, but she didn't have all the cards needed. I really thought the cards were cool, especially since I loved watching "The Partridge Family" tv show.
